The very core of this book is about womanhood. It is about mature women navigating the pressures of leadership and love while surviving in a futuristic, water-deprived landscape. It will be sensitive to our vulnerabilities, but will ultimately be a voice for female empowerment, with a focus on female friendship, female support networks and positive body image. We are all Matriarchs. We are all women. But sometimes, it feels as though we cannot be both at the same time.
